HERYard #2MOSA BEACH, CA. | JANUARY 15, 2016 – The Yard Training Center took delivery of a new CYBEX SPARC ® trainer which will add another high performance tool for serious workouts.  The Yard has been home to serious fitness enthusiasts for over twenty years.

The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) worked with Yard staff to ramp up education on how the SPARC can become a “game changer” for high intensity interval training. “We pride ourselves on bringing the best knowledge and equipment to our members. The expectations are always high with our athletes and the SPARC is a great tool to add to our programs.  Everyone has been extremely impressed.” stated owner Troll Subin.

The Yard has become known as the premier training facility in the beach area.  Athletes from beach volleyball to professional hockey, football, basketball, soccer and baseball love the serious but low key atmosphere.

Wynn & Encore Resorts

LAS VEGAS, NV. | DECEMBER 1, 2Wynn #1015 – The Wynn and Encore Resorts in Las Vegas recently received upgrades to their five star hotel spa fitness centers.  There is unparalleled luxury and incredible attention to detail provided at each hotel property. For the past six years in a row Wynn Las Vegas has been named among the top 100 hotels in the world on Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List.

Each upgraded fitness center was designed by Wynn Design and Development (WDD).  WDD worked exclusively with The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) to design and supply the exercise equipment for each space.  The goal was a new exercise experience that mirrored the detailed luxury of the properties; engaging, effective and safe.

The new CYBEX GO®  cardio machines were added with a complete  line of custom designed Cybex Eagle NX® strength and Iron Grip® free weight equipment. The new space added more room for cross training, stretching and kettlebells. Concept II Rowers, Keiser spin bikes and CYBEX Arc Trainers® were added help create two five star workout locations on the Las Vegas Strip.

LAS VEGAS, NV. | SEPTEMBER 26, 2015 – The Mirage Resort in Las Vegas resort was built by developer Steve Wynn and is currently owned and operated by MGM Resorts International. Back in 1980, Wynn started designing the first major ground-up resort in Las Vegas, a hotel and casino more sophisticated than others in the city. This would become The Mirage resort and hotel, which opened in 1989. At the time the 3,044 room was the most expensive hotel-casino in history, with a construction cost of US $630 million.

The Cybex GO platform was selected for the variety of offerings and the intuitive, easy-to-use touchscreen.

SAN DIEGO, CA. | SEPTEMBER 15, 2015 – Oliver McMillan has opened EV, a five-story residential building fronting 13th Street between Market and G Streets in the East Village District of downtown San Diego. The new complex includes 208 midrise and ground-level apartments with studio, one- and two-bedroom residences, plus two ground-level retail spaces. The building has common areas for residents at the ground floor, an extensive rooftop deck and on-site fitness space.

Now billed as “artful, sophisticated and social”, EV offers a new way to live in San Diego’s vibrant East Village Arts District. The expansive fitness center has a health club quality line up of cardio and strength training equipment.

Golden Nugget – Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA. | AUGUST 1, 2015 – The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, Louisiana opened last year with an 18-hole championship golf course, one-of-a-kind pool, private beach front with marina and a number of Landry’s signature restaurants. The spa and fitness center are the latest amenities to open at the $700 million hotel and casino which was developed by Houston billionaire restaurateur Tilman Fertitta.

The 17,000-square-foot Spa and Salon at the Golden Nugget, touted as a Las Vegas-like feature has 10 treatment rooms, a full-service salon offering manicures, pedicures, hair, makeup and airbrush tanning. After treatment, guests can use the spa’s whirlpool, steam and sauna.

The fitness center has five star features; free weights, treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and an Eagle strength circuit from CYBEX®. The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) worked with developers and spa staff on the design and layout prior to install.
