College Adds Total Access to P.E. Program

Image_016San Diego, CA. April 1, 2009 – San Diego Mesa College recently upgraded their Adaptive Physical Education program with Cybex Total Access Equipment. The new strength training machines were part of the school’s continued commitment to expand P.E. offerings.

P.E. department’s strength and cardiovascular training equipment. Todd Curran, P.E. Instructor commented, “The Total Access machines were a
perfect upgrade for our Adaptive Strength training room which is utilized by a number of our

Encore Spa

Image_015December 22, 2008 – Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – This evening at 8pm marks the opening of Wynn Resor ts Ltd.’s $2.3 billion, 2,034 room Las Vegas Strip jewel, Encore. Located next door to the flagship property Wynn Las Vegas on the remaining frontage of Las Vegas Boulevard, ground was originally broken on April 28, 2006, the one year anniversary of the original resort. Encore has 61 floors, making it the same size as Wynn. Floors 13, and 40 through 49 will be left out at the request of Steve Wynn (Ideology which relates to the Western belief of 13 being an unlucky number, as well as the Eastern/Asian belief of the number 4 meaning death).

Along with a 74,000-square-foot casino, 5 restaurants, 11 retail outlets, and nightclub “XS”, the hotel will feature a 61,000-square-foot luxur y spa that sets a new standard with its grandeur. The Dumbell Man (TDM) designed, supplied, and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the spa’s 5,000-square-foot-plus fitness center. It is readily apparent upon entry into the fitness center that the objective of meshing dramatic design elements with uncompromised function to capture a unique guest experience has been achieved. The Dumbell Man Completes High School Project

Image_015San Diego, CA. November 1, 2008 – Kearny High School received a boon from the San Diego Chargers Football team in the form of a grant for the purchase of new exercise equipment. The new 900 square foot fitness center features a complete strength training circuit for the physical education classes.

The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment was contracted to design, supply and ser vice the room which features the new Cybex VR1 strength training equipment. The VR1 line is built in the USA and offers quality design, a small footprint and an affordable price.

Patty Peisner, Athletic Director stated, “The Dumbell Man provided outstanding ser vice and allowed our grant to maximize the opportunity to get the best possible fitness center for our school.”
