They recently opened their new campus location in Mira Mesa area of San Diego with a 6,000 square foot fitness facility. The company provides a line of products and services that serve the sequencing, genotyping and gene expression markets.

The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) worked with key staff in developing a design for the space, equipment selection and programming. The new facility offers separate cardio, strength and group exercise options. The new Cybex 770 E3 cardio machines were added with a complete line of custom designed Cybex strength and Free Motion free weight equipment. The new space added more room for cross training, stretching and kettlebells, with top brands TRX, Stairmaster, and Marpo Rope included.

RecCenter_Rough4_jpgRIVERSIDE, CA. | JANUARY 31, 2013 – California Baptist University (CBU) opened their new 60,000 square foot student recreation and athletic performance center. The facility houses a recreational fitness environment for students and staff and a separate training facility for student athletes.

The CBU Recreation Center promotes core values in developing student leaders through “healthy and active lifestyles.” The exercise area includes Cybex circuit strength, cardiovascular and free weight training equipment. Additional areas include a climbing wall, two group class rooms and a roof top synthetic track and soccer field. The main floor also provides and “Inclusive Fitness” opportunity with the Cybex Total Access equipment and Marpo Rope trainers. The Athletic Performance Center features line up of the Cybex, half racks, Arcs and Bravo functional trainers.

The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) provided the design consultation, layouts and supplied all the equipment for both facilities.

College Opens New PE Fitness Center

TORRANCE, CA. SEPTEMBER 1, 2011 – El Camino College has opened a new P.E. Center on campus. The new 3,500 square foot facility will be used by the school’s P.E., Adaptive P.E. and Athletic programs.

The Dumbell Man (TDM) supplied Cybex Total Access strength training equipment and a variety of cardiovascular machines to help meet the diverse needs of the students and staff utilizing the room.

Rory Natividad, Dean of Health Sciences and Athletics stated, “The upgrade to our facility is the first step to creating a first-class exercise environment for our students and staff. The team from Dumbell Man was outstanding in helping us reach our goal.”

TDM provided layout planning, equipment installation and training for the Athletic coaches and
P.E. staff prior to opening.
