Golden Nugget – Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA. | AUGUST 1, 2015 – The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, Louisiana opened last year with an 18-hole championship golf course, one-of-a-kind pool, private beach front with marina and a number of Landry’s signature restaurants. The spa and fitness center are the latest amenities to open at the $700 million hotel and casino which was developed by Houston billionaire restaurateur Tilman Fertitta.

The 17,000-square-foot Spa and Salon at the Golden Nugget, touted as a Las Vegas-like feature has 10 treatment rooms, a full-service salon offering manicures, pedicures, hair, makeup and airbrush tanning. After treatment, guests can use the spa’s whirlpool, steam and sauna.

The fitness center has five star features; free weights, treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and an Eagle strength circuit from CYBEX®. The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) worked with developers and spa staff on the design and layout prior to install.

EL SEGUNDO, CA. | APRIL 9, 2015 – According to Inc. magazine “Fuhu has reported an eye-popping 158 percent surge in sales over the past three years for the No. 1 ranking on Inc.’s 500 list.” Products including the signature red Nabi Android tablet have created revenues of $196 million in 2014.

The growing success of the Nabi division demanded an expansion of the El Segundo campus and the addition of a new on-site fitness center for employees. The new offices have men’s and women’s locker rooms and a 2,000 square foot exercise facility designed and supplied by The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM).  TDM helped with the conception of the space, supplied the new equipment and will provide maintenance service.
