Workout with The Man Supports USC Program

Los Angeles, CA, January 23, 2007 – The University of Southern California (USC), is home to The Veronica Adkins Lifestyle Intervention Laboratory at the medical campus. The lab provides helps local youth fight obesity and type-2 diabetes. The program is specifically designed to assist inner city area teens a chance to change their future through unique fitness and nutritional programs.
The Dumbell Man (TDM) donated the “Workout with The Man” van to assist with the program’s transportation needs. USC’s Dr. Louise Kelly stated, “Our location in East Los Angeles can sometimes present a challenge for some of our participants. The van will be an enormous asset!”

LAS VEGAS, NV – Nov. 18, 2005 – The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment (TDM), recently donated a recumbent exercise bike to the Nevada Cancer Institute’s (NVCI) Rock for the Cure event. The Event raised more than $3 million with all proceeds to benefit NVCI and cancer research in Nevada. Celebrity entertainers were on hand at the sold-out event attended by many of Nevada’s most prominent business and community leaders.
TORRANCE, California – July 2005 – Team Dumbell Man is proud to support The City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute. Each year the Team has participated in the “Workout for Hope” as well as hosting “The Dumbell Man Golf Classic” and most recently the “Balls for Hope” billiard tournament. Many thanks to all the customers, suppliers, friends and family who have helped contribute proceeds, which go directly to cancer research at City of Hope.
