LA QUINTA, CA. | DECEMBER 15, 2014 – Griffin Ranch was initially conceived by entertainment and media icon Merv Griffin. Griffin, one of the first to recognize the desert’s promising future, purchased a large tract of rural land over 30 years ago, before the City of La Quinta was incorporated, to be the home of his Moroccan-styled estate. In 2013, Lennar purchased the Griffin Ranch to develop an exclusive, guard gated Spanish-style country club community.

Recently construction was completed on the luxurious, amenities-rich Recreation Center at Griffin Ranch. Lennar worked exclusively with The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) on the design, supply and service for their fitness offering at 10,000 square foot space.  The fitness center has a health club quality line of custom designed Cybex VR1® strength, Cybex E3 HDTV cardio and Cybex free weight equipment. Residents will also enjoy a private Pilates Studio, tennis courts, swimming pool and dog park.
